General Note

This is a review of the accessibility of Soho Place  as a way to prep folks with various needs before they visit.

For some people, knowing these things ahead of time makes it easier to enjoy their experience because they know what to expect and can accommodate their needs better. And, often, makes those people more likely to see it in the first place. I hope that it’s helpful!

I am also happy to clarify any specifics, just send me a message or an email and I will respond when I can.

This theatre currently houses The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. I chose not to access review it since I was at a very early preview and things are subject to change, but I did see it so if you have any general questions about accessibility in its design feel free to reach out!

Access

The bottom floor of the theater, at ground level, is a bar. The bathrooms on this floor are located straight ahead behind said bar. They are accessible and divided into the binary.

Bathrooms also exist on each floor except the stalls, located on the far left of the venue. All are divided into the binary, however there is a single unisex adaptable toilet on each level.

Each floor is accessible via lift, located on the right side of the building.

Some rows have a step or two up or down to access.

The theater offers multiple assistive listening options.

For more show-specific access info, go to the accessibility portion of their website.
